Patients with ACL injuries can be categorized into Copers and Non Copers. Potential copers are characterized as having good knee stability and can return to preinjury level without surgery, whereas noncopers cannot.
Recent studies have shown that a significant % of non Copers can become Copers after neuromuscular and strength training (NMST) program. Copers after NMST are also more likely to succeed 2 years later regardless of surgery or not.
The webinar also includes Live Q&A with Prof Jim Richards and Chartered Physiotherapist Jimmy Reynolds, focusing on:
• ACL Injury is a Brain Injury
• NMES+ in prehab & rehab – neuro efficiency + MSK
• RTP – psychological readiness
